Dallas labor-only jobs are billed hourly with a written two-hour minimum. What you pay is the crew rate times the hours worked, quoted flat before you book. You supply the truck, container, or pod, we bring the crew and every piece of equipment they need: furniture blankets, shrink wrap, straps, dollies, floor runners, wardrobe boxes on request. Because there is no truck to buy or fuel to burn, labor-only is the cheapest way to get real movers on a job.

Pricing
How Much Do Movers Cost of Labor-Only in Dallas?
Dallas labor-only pricing uses the same hourly rate card as our full moves - you save on the truck cost, not the crew. Two-hour minimum applies to every labor-only booking. Rates below reflect the crew size we typically send for each home or job size.
Prices may be higher when a move involves:
- Multiple flights of stairs
- Long carries from the building to the truck
- Restricted freight elevator windows
- Difficult parking or alley access
- Full packing
- Specialty or unusually heavy items
- Storage between addresses
- Peak moving dates
- Additional stops
Two hour minimum on all Dallas local moves, plus travel time.
Included at no extra charge: blankets and moving pads, shrink wrap and tape, disassembly and reassembly, dollies, tools and straps, and fuel. A 2.5% fee applies to final balances paid by card.

About Evolution Moving Company
A Dallas Moving Company Built on Written Prices
Moving in Dallas is not the same as moving anywhere else in Texas. I-635 traffic patterns shift by the hour, downtown and Uptown high rises require a Certificate of Insurance and a reserved freight elevator, and the August heat makes an early crew start non negotiable. Our coordinators have moved every kind of Dallas household, from Uptown studios to Preston Hollow estates, Deep Ellum lofts to Highland Park family homes, and Lake Highlands bungalows to Plano corporate relocations. That kind of knowledge is not on a map. It is built one move at a time, and Evolution has been building it in Texas since 2013.
Your Dallas quote is based on:
- The furniture and boxes being moved
- The pickup and delivery addresses
- Stairs, elevators, and walking distance
- Building rules and permitted hours
- Packing and storage requirements
- Specialty or unusually heavy items
- The requested moving date
- Local or long-distance transportation
The price only changes if the scope changes: added items, added services, a new address or date, an extra stop, or materially different access. Any adjustment is documented and approved by you in writing before the work is performed.
