Getting around. Loop 410, Loop 1604, I-10, I-35, and US 281 carry most cross-town traffic. VIA buses cover the city, but most people here still drive.
What to set up first. CPS Energy handles electricity and gas and SAWS handles water for most homes inside the city. Texas gives new residents 30 days to switch a driver license and register a car after a safety inspection.
