How much does a residential move in Dallas cost?
Flat quotes range from about $480 for a studio to about $3,750 for a 5-bedroom estate. Every Dallas home move is billed hourly on our real crew rate card, quoted flat before we load.
What is included in the hourly rate?
Truck, fuel, travel time, crew labor, blankets, shrink wrap, tape, dollies, and assembly of beds, tables, and dressers. Wardrobe boxes on request at no charge.
Do you charge a fuel or travel surcharge?
No fuel surcharge. Travel time from our warehouse to your first address is a flat 30 minutes, quoted up front, not billed at the hourly rate.
Is there a minimum booking time?
Yes, two hours plus travel time. If the job finishes in under two hours you are still billed for two. Most studio loads finish inside the minimum.
Do you move on weekends?
Yes. Same crew rate Monday through Sunday. The last weekend of the month and the last 2 weeks of August book out first - reserve early.
Are your movers insured?
Yes. Full cargo insurance, general liability, and workers-comp on every job. COI issued at no cost for buildings that require one.
Do you disassemble and reassemble furniture?
Yes. Beds, dining tables, dressers with mirrors, workout equipment, cribs, and modular sofas. Included in the hourly rate.
Can I book same-day in Dallas?
Sometimes. We hold a small daily rescue slot. Call before noon for the best chance of a crew.
What can you not load on the truck?
Cash, jewelry, firearms, ammunition, hazardous materials (paint, propane, chemicals), plants, pets, food, and open liquids.
How far ahead should I book my Dallas home move?
Two to three weeks in the off-season, four to six weeks for peak summer, month-end, and the last two weeks of August.

How do I book my Dallas home move?
Submit the form or call, then schedule a video walkthrough. Once you approve the written quote we hold the date. One-hour local deposit, $500 per truck interstate.
Will my furniture be weighed?
No. Residential moves are hourly, not weight-based. You pay for the crew hours and truck actually used.
What paperwork will I sign?
One written hourly quote before move day, one bill of lading on the day. Final invoice matches the quote unless you add work in writing.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes, at no cost, naming your building or HOA at either end. Request when you book; usually issued the same business day.
What if the truck cannot reach my new street?
We run a shuttle: smaller truck ferries the load to the trailer waiting on a wider street. Shuttle priced into the quote if we spot it on the walkthrough.
How do I know the crew is trained?
Every Evolution Dallas mover is W-2 employed, background-checked, and trained through our two-week program. Ask for the crew lead's name at booking; you meet the same lead on the day.
What happens if something is damaged?
Claims handled in-house. Note it on the inventory at delivery, send photos, your coordinator opens the claim the same day.
Do you move cars, boats, or motorcycles?
Vehicle transport is arranged through vetted partners and quoted separately on the same paperwork, so you are still dealing with one coordinator.
