How Much Does Dallas Storage Cost?
Dallas storage is billed two ways: a flat monthly rate per 5x7x7 ft vault (climate-controlled) plus our real Dallas crew hourly rate ($160-$375/hr from the same rate card as our moves) for load-in and load-out. Handling fee $23 per vault, one-time each direction.
Monthly rate may vary when the storage involves:

- Access requests inside billing month
- Custom crating for art or antiques
- Vehicle or trailer storage
- Refrigerated or humidity-tuned space

Two hour minimum on all Dallas local moves, plus travel time.

How much does storage in Dallas cost with Evolution?
Monthly rates start at $75 per vault (studio load) and scale to about $625 per month for a 4-bedroom home (5-6 vaults). Load-in and load-out are billed separately at our regular Dallas crew hourly rate ($160-$375/hr) plus $23 per vault handling.
What is a storage vault?
A wooden crate measuring 5 x 7 x 7 ft, roughly 245 cubic feet. Your furniture is wrapped in pads, loaded into the vault at your home, and the vault is sealed shut before it leaves. Only Evolution staff touches it again until redelivery.
How many vaults will my home need?
Rough guide: studio = 1 vault, 1-bedroom = 2 vaults, 2-3 bedroom = 3-4 vaults, 4+ bedroom = 5-6 vaults. Actual count comes from the video survey; you are billed on the count that gets loaded, not the estimate.
Is the warehouse climate-controlled?
Yes. Our DFW warehouse holds 65-75 degrees F year-round, with humidity monitoring. Safe for wood, leather, upholstery, art, wine, and electronics.
Is it monitored and secure?
Yes. 24-hour alarm, sprinkler protection, and access limited to trained Evolution staff. No self-service, no code-in, no shared unit access. Each vault is sealed and photo-logged.
How long can I store my belongings?
As short as 1 day and as long as you need. Storage in transit under 30 days is quoted flat in the move price. Beyond 30 days rolls to a monthly vault bill.
Can I access my things while they are in storage?
Yes, by appointment during business hours. We open the vault and let you pull specific items or check on the load. Access fee is $23 per vault handled, waived on the first access per 90 days.
Is my stuff insured while in storage?
Yes. Full cargo insurance stays live for the whole storage period at no extra charge - same policy as the move itself. Higher-tier valuation up to $100,000 available at flat published prices.
Can I cancel my monthly storage?
Yes. 7 days written notice for redelivery, no cancellation fee. Prorated to the day; you are not charged for a full extra month if you leave mid-cycle.
What if I need my things back on short notice?
Standard redelivery is 3-5 business days from your call. Rush redelivery inside 48 hours is available for a $150 flat surcharge; call your coordinator, not the warehouse.

How do I book Dallas storage?

Do you weigh or measure my belongings?
No weighing. Vaults are volume-billed, and count is set by what actually loads. You pay for the vaults filled, not an estimate.
What paperwork will I sign?
A written monthly rate agreement plus a storage inventory sheet with photos of every vault. Redelivery is triggered by written notice, not another contract.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance for my building?
Yes, at no cost, naming your building and management at both ends. Request when you book; usually issued the same business day.
What if the truck cannot reach my building on load-in?
We run a shuttle: smaller truck ferries the load to the trailer waiting on a wider street. Shuttle is priced into the load-in quote if we spot it on the video survey.
How do I access my stored items?
Call your coordinator with 48 hours notice. We pull the vault and open it in a private warehouse bay during business hours; you check, pull, or add items and re-seal.
What happens if something is damaged in storage?
Claims handled in-house, not farmed out. Note it at redelivery, send photos, your coordinator opens the claim the same day. Cargo insurance covers repair or replacement per your valuation tier.
Do you store vehicles, boats, or trailers?
Enclosed vehicle storage is arranged through vetted partners and quoted separately on the same paperwork. Boats and trailers stored outdoors under carport at $95-$185/mo based on length.
